or the past year Alicia Schultze has literally soared across the globe. As an aerialist for rock legend Mötley Crüe, Alicia choreographed and performed revolutionary aerial and ground acts in thirteen countries and on four continents.

Her trademark performance, a fusion of traditional circus style acrobatics with addicting fluidity and sensuality, was hailed by media giants Rolling Stone Magazine, Spin, Alternative London and Classic Rock.  Alicia’s aerial dance has been featured on MTV, VH1 and numerous international web casts.  Reviewers describe her as an “air goddess” and “amazing, gravity defying and inventive.”

Her recent success is a result of disciplined training and personal style development.  Under the instruction of Air Cat Aerial, Elsie and Serenity Smith, and The San Francisco School for Circus Arts, Alicia mastered the classical acrobatics of poles, ropes, Spanish web, leir, fabric, trapeze and fire fingers.  Her talent took her to Athens with Cirque Le Masque and booked her three national tours with Imagination Entertainment Company.  She has been featured with Busta Rhymes, Outkast, The Roots, De LA Soul, and the famed Rolling Stones.

In between tours, Alicia thrills audiences with special appearances at renowned hotspots Webster Hall and the Roxy in New York City, Level and Opium in Miami, House of Blues in New Orleans, and countless clubs in her hometown of Los Angeles.

Inspired by music and her need for self-discovery, Alicia developed her signature style.  Her aerial expression has a contemporary essence that has made her so effective in pop and rock-n-roll arenas.  Alicia’s newly designed “Quadro-Strap” (a series of four long canvas straps) has transformed her performance into a new art form.  In the upcoming year, Alicia will focus on her own multimedia projects that are destined to take her to new heights.
